Your journey through this troubled time has inspired me to live better so that I may spend more time with you in the end. Anna has Pulmonary Hypertension (ph) along with systemic lupus. This health condition will shorten her life to two more years with out the help of a new drug on the market. Remodulin is the new medicine that will help extend her life 5 to 8 years. On Tuesday, Feb. 17th 2009 Anna will under go surgery to have a catheter placed in her heart so Remodulin may be pumped in and open her capillaries. She is 25 years old and is doing battle for her right to live. She is not angry or complaining about this disease. She will agree it's not fare but will make the best of what she has, and help others along the way. And yes she is scared to death. I have been praying daily for a miracle. I would trade places with her if it were only possible. She has a blog that will be updated by her mother during her stay at University of Colorado Hospital in Denver. I love you Anna!
